Seattle and Vancouver!

So far in our trip through the US and Canada has been very good! We have had brilliant weather, getting up to about 25-27 degrees C, and we expect it will only get hotter as we go further east to Toronto and New York.

Seattle was very fun, I especially enjoyed the EMP museum (Experience Music Project). This was very fun as they had a very good ACDC exhibition going on which took us through the years of The Greatest Rock Band of All Time. They had videos of ACDC live at Donington and live at River Plate, also little TV screens with music videos playing. My favorite part of this exhibition was the ACDC photo booth, where you could wear one of Angus Young's velvet jackets, pick up an old Gibson SG and have your photo taken! Very cool.
After the ACDC exhibition, we moved up to a room where they had instruments that could be used to play with and they even had little TV screens that taught you how to play! I loved this part, considering I smashed the hell out of the drums (both electronic and real) and played sick bass lines. You could even enter a room where you could record your own little song and then hear it being played afterwards!
There then was a queue to a show which allowed you to play along with a live song, e.g. Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix, Twist and Shout - The Beatles. I just had to join this queue! I named my band the 'NZ One Man Bandwagon' because I was the only one in my band, #foreveralone, but then just as I entered, the man running this project asked me if someone else could join so I said yes and this Chinese guy came in, probably about 18 years old, he was pretty cool. We ended up playing along with Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze Live. And we renamed ourselves as 'The Two Man Bandwagon', we got to watch ourselves play along with it and it turned out to be pretty cool!

Well that was my highlight in Seattle!

Now in Vancouver, Canada.
We have had a nice time in Vancouver, temperature getting up to about 25-27 degrees C also. I haven't done a lot in Vancouver, but I did enjoy going down to the beach and having a nice swim and having dinner afterwards. Another thing that was a highlight for me in Vancouver was that I got a new Playstation game called Rocksmith which I have been dying for yet it hasn't been released in New Zealand yet! So I am very happy that I have got it :)

Those are my only highlights in Vancouver as we did only get to stay for 3 days, ah well.

I do apologize about not being active lately!
Will blog again soon,
